I was trying to keep my diary in English, trying to get on well with others (especially my classmates),trying to live a better and relaxed life. Keep trying…
Actually I can’t stomach some people in my class. Someone enjoys despising others who are junior. Someone likes to pretend to know everything and looks like a nightingale, but a stupid one. Someone is always showing off. This is the group which is so-called a top group!
I found that they were not that bad as I thought before.(31st,Oct.)
OK, forget it!
After class, when I was on the bus on my way home, I saw a guy was sketching on the glass in the park. Suddenly I remembered that I’ve ever promised myself to learn oil painting here in Europe, and what about my harmonica? Oh, gosh! I was planning to begin my Japanese study these days. That is me! I am eager to learn everything within a short time. Perhaps I should arrange all the things well, put them into right order. Step by step. I’ve talked about this to my tutor, and she said maybe this is the main characteristic of Chinese people, even Asian people.
HAHA, now I am going out for a film, which is new arrival, called SAW Ⅵ. [Pause 27th, Oct. 00:28(Beijing)]
[Continue 27th, Oct. 18:12(UK)] So bloody the film was! Since it was the first time that I’ve gone to the cinema with international friends (Japanese, African), I couldn’t show my scare to others. I pretended to be brave the whole night. Ha-ha!!! I spent £4.75 on the film. Gosh!
After the film, I went to Saint Andrew Hall for the Beer Festival. It cost me £5 for the entry fee, and £2 for a glass, and £4 for the beer. There was noisy but lots of fun. Especially the drunkards, who made face on me, were so cute! And they took photos with us. I liked that atmosphere. In the Taxi on the way to the cinema, the driver told me that I should try to experience the nightlife here in UK. Maybe I will, if I have time someday.
And I went back home with dizziness, because of some beer of cause. I should had gone to bed early, because I had an activity today to Cley, a birds conserve. I did go there today. The photos will be shown in the coming days.
The reason why I kept my journal in English is that I should form the habit in writing English compositions. We will have a mid-term English test next week, a project work (including 1000 words essay), and an academic course assignment (1000 words) as well. Come on, I don’t want to stay up till 3 a.m. everyday; I don’t want to sleep on the bus back home. But I have got to!!
Some one told me that I should join in the foreigners group for the project work, because they know how to write a standard essay. I followed her advice. As a matter of fact, I found that the foreigners did well in organisation indeed, and the ways they thought were quite different from us, the Chinese. Ultimately we came to a good agreement on the topic of the project, though we argued for our won opinions during the course of discussion.
Money, I need! Study, I should do!
BTW: Halloween (31st, Oct.) is coming, Christmas is following. Norwich had been decorating step by step. I am looking forward to my holiday!!!
BTW: I wrote my journal in English for the first time, so would you please pick out the mistakes for me? Thanks~!!
BTW: Hey, guys, do not forget to put back your watches by one hour before you go to bed, since British summer time is going to end at 2 a.m. on 28th.
