Yeah!!! I found that everything about the project came off well so far, though the questionnaire was just the beginning part of the whole project. This afternoon, I as well as another four group-mates went to city centre to do the survey. Since it was not the first time that I had done such kind of research (I had done once before, when I was taking my language course in UEA.) , so maybe I had some experience that how to ask others questions, I finished my task (15 sheets per one) within 1 hour. And then I helped SH with his questionnaires.
Four people rejected my survey, including one who was so impolite that refused me by saying “NO”, then left. Gosh, I was not meant to ask him to donate. One man had a talk with me after completing the questionnaire. He asked me about my nationality, my school, so kind he was. The other thing I should mention is that today was so cold!!! After I one hour’s job, I felt my hands were frozen completely.
Not bad, because I finished them ultimately.
Tonight I analysed all the data from the questionnaires , I needed tea, hehe, and chocolate.
I liked this way of teaching, students can learn more practical things from society, I am not sure if China university student will be asked to do this or not. I could observe the behaviour of the pedestrians. Someone saw me, but he pretended to be watching the watch and passed by in a hurry, I knew he want me to feel that how busy he was at that moment, but in fact, he didn’t want to help me. During that 1 hour, nobody gave me a hand actively, I was expecting, but no one.
Tomorrow I will help SH to move here, maybe tomorrow night we will have a small party for welcome. This Saturday I am going to the other county nearby, I can’t wait for the trip! I am craving a iPhone which will be sold on this Friday! Now, I had got my bank card already, I want to be a rich man!!!!
